Genuine Type 2 coolant
#Type 2
The blue premixed coolant Honda specifies. Do not top up with green universal coolant.
The coolant chemistry your engine was filled with.
Top up only with the coolant your maker specifies. Color is not a spec — do not mix Honda Type 2, Toyota pink, Ford orange or yellow, VW G13 and BMW blue. Check the reservoir cap.
Check before you buy: trims and mid-year changes can affect fit. Enter your VIN or registration at the retailer to confirm, and compare the OEM number on your old part.
#Type 2

#00272-SLLC2
Toyota's pink Super Long Life Coolant, premixed. The hybrid has a separate inverter-coolant circuit — this is the engine coolant.
#VC-3DIL-B
Ford orange coolant (WSS-M97B44-D2) used on 2015–2018 F-150s. 2019–2020 trucks moved to yellow VC-13DL-G. Read the reservoir cap.
#VC-13DL-G
Ford yellow coolant (WSS-M97B57-A2) used from about 2019. It can top off orange; do not add gold coolant.
VW's G13 coolant for the Mk7 Golf. Later cars may specify G12evo — the reservoir cap and manual win if they disagree.
BMW's blue silicate-free HT-12 coolant. Do not mix it with green or universal coolant, and do not top up with tap water.
